Twitter in Outer Space!!!!

Yes, you read correctly…
There is now Twitter access for astronauts that are really really high up in space. According to Yahoo,space station resident Timothy Creamer who moved in last month had been working on trying to get internet access up in space. Well last friday he accomplished it and sent out the first live twitter from space. It’s kind of funny really when you think about it, you would think they would have other things to do on the internet but at the same time they do spend months away from their families and friends. Now they’ve found a way to be able to communicate a lot faster and easier rather than having to wait months and months to reach them. It’s said that before this,astronauts were only able to send emails with their twitter information to Mission Control in Houston, but now they can use an on board laptop to reach Mission Control’s desktop.
