Another Possible Plane Hijacking???..

Indian airports were on high alert this past thursday and friday after receiving notice of a possible plane hijacking. It’s said that Intelligence Officials uncovered a plot by militants that were actually linked to al-Qaeda and Pakistan. The plot was uncovered during an interrogation of Amyad Kwaja who is a militant leader that belonged to Harkat-Ul-Jihad-Al-Islami.  This is an extremist group that has actually been involved in many terror attacks in India. The plane that they were planning on hijacking belonged to either “Air India” or  ”Indian Airlines,” they weren’t quite sure but they knew it was destined for a South Asian country. I can’t say that this type of news doesn’t scare me, I’m one of those who loves to travel and hearing something like this doesn’t necessarily ease my mind when i hop on a plane. I honestly don’t mind that the airport security has gotten tighter and probably will get stricter. Sure it’s more of a hassle but if it’s going to keep me safe on that plane and get me to my destination then why not.
